I’m Amanda! Your midwest wedding, portrait, and lifestyle photographer.

I’m Cleveland based but love a good adventure. Natural, light, and timeless images are my thing. Making you feel safe in your body and in front of the camera is my mission.

My back story: I picked up my first professional camera back in high school (thanks mom and dad), played around and loved it. Wanted to go to art school until I realized how expensive it was … who knew adulting would be so hard? My backup plan then was going to business school with the hopes that I would one day create what I am right now! Fast forward in time we now have Amanda Hemstreet Photography.

Now for the fun stuff. I am a big travel addict with a bucket list that is just about a mile long. If you love a good adventure, we’ll bond instantly! Zion, Yosemite, The Grand Tetons, and Acadia National Parks are my top US destinations at the moment. But, we can’t forget about Banff, Phi Phi Islands, Copenhagen, Venice, Dublin & Prague for those dreamy international destinations.

Pro tip: I offer discounted destination sessions to the locations on my adventure list. So, if you happen to head to one of these epic locations we are a match made in adventure heaven!

My simple pleasures:

→ My husband and I have the cutest ginger curly boy named Barrett. Yes, we’re obsessed with him!

→ Travel is my love language. Shocking I know.

→ You can’t go wrong with tacos and tequila.

→ Music is my therapy. No matter my mood, music is an instant booster! And, I can guarantee you that if Maroon 5 comes on I will stop what I am doing to sing along.

→ DIY’ing is my favorite verb. I mean, who doesn’t want to channel their inner Chip and Joanna Gaines any chance they can?!

Capturing your milestones means the absolute most to me. being part of your journey is a privilege I don’t take lightly. If you forgot, You deserve to have a capsule of memories frozen in time and documented to cherish for legacies to come.

Forever love, this is a big deal. I plan to capture the moments you’re going to cherish way later on in life. The tiny candid moments you don’t know are a big deal, I got those! These are just as important as the pictures you’ve been dreaming about since you were a little thing.

Every couple deserves to have their story captured on more than just an iPhone. It’s not just about capturing the big days, like a wedding. For me, it’s also about capturing the moments that remind you how you fell in love with your person. The no pressure just fun.

Woah you made it. Up to this point, this is the coolest, biggest, and best case scenario in your life. You. Are. Graduating. I’m not into posing you like a child, you are on to college friend.
