Have you ever thought, “that’s a nice headshot but it just isn’t my style”? Yea, me too!

Professional headshots don’t have to be stiff and boring.

A lot of professional headshots feel stiff, boring & lacking personality. Around here we try to bring your headshots to life and show your true personality by incorporating fun backdrops and stunning locations.

Of course we will get wonderful photos of you smiling directly into the camera because those are often best when you are needing a corporate headshot for presentations, company websites, resumes & LinkedIn but we will go beyond just your standard headshot photo. We will incorporate props like chairs and stools as well as using the environment around us to inspire creativity.

If you are an entrepreneur looking for content for your website, social platforms or marketing materials you definitely want photos that represent YOU! You are your business and we want that to be portrayed through these photos. People buy/book with people, not brands. Customers love to know who they are working with and are more likely to work with you if you show your face! We will grab some standard smiling photos and then we will get creative with more movement, poses & locations to show your personality.

Here is a little insight into my headshot process.

Meet and greet! We will meet up at our designated location and get introduced.
Get to know each other! I will get to know you a bit if we have not met before and learn what you will be using the photos for and if there is anything in specific that you are looking for.
Location! We will find the perfect photo spot at our location (if we are outdoors) and if we are in a studio setting we will decide which setup we will use first.
Dive into photos! We will start with the standard smiling at the camera professional headshots and then we will dive into more fun photos that show your true personality! I love to incorporate a bit of motion into these shots so be prepared to move around a bit (walking, moving head side to side, swaying your arms, laughing, putting your hand in your pocket or through your hair). When we incorporate movement into your photos they look so natural and we get the best smiles/facial expressions! After all, we do want your personality to jump out in these photos.
Outfit Swap! If you have a change of clothes we will stop about 30 min into your session to give you a chance to swap outfits and do any necessary touch ups.
Continue photos! The second half of your session will be like the first where we will start with standard headshots and move into photos that have more movement and emotion. We will work to incorporate different poses so you have a variety of poses in each outfit to choose from.
Adios! We will depart and I’ll head home to back up all of your gorgeous photos!
Delivery Time! Turn around time for these sessions are typically 1-2 weeks (unless otherwise noted in your contract) and you will receive your photos in an online digital gallery with full downloading and printing rights! I even have an online shop to order you photos from a professional lab and they come right to your door.
