Backyard Garden Party Wedding

Love when a plan comes together. These two brides had to call an audible and change the date and location of their spring 2022 wedding well into the planning process. I would say it ended up being more perfect than anyone could imagine.

Casey & Cassie both met while playing basketball in college and their love of basketball and their pups definitely shined through on their wedding day. It was a gorgeous backyard wedding with garden party vibes. No details were missed from the bright boho florals by Nikki's Perfect Petals, a champagne wall for guests to enjoy, the cutest backboard guestbook, pup to go treats, an ice cream station by Pav’s Creamery, late night snacks from Swensons to their wedding stationery/signage that was designed by one of the brides herself!

Casey wore a gorgeous long sleeved pearl gown by Willowby Watters from KR Bridal and Cassie wore a beautiful align gown with lace detail by Lillian West from Blush Bridal. The bridal party was gorgeous in emerald shade dresses for the ladies & tan pants, white button ups with floral ties for the guys and everyone had matching air force ones (we love a matching shoe moment)!

The ceremony was beautiful and officiated by one of their close friends and was simply the best.Cocktail hour took place on the grounds where drinks were served up by Sweetwater Caravan and let me tell you this mobile bar was a huge hit. I highly recommend anyone hosting an outdoor event where you can bring in your own bar service to hire them! Then the reception kicked off with speeches, dinner and they danced the night away! There is just something special about an outdoor ceremony with a tented reception that gives all the backyard garden party feels.

The day went off without a hitch and Rachel from With Love Planning is a key player in making that happen. She is a complete rockstar at her job and such a joy to work with. So if you are planning a wedding do yourself a favor and hand some of that work off to a professional so you can truly enjoy the planning process!
